Passion for LIFE, the Path to Wholeness

Often I see people filling their lives with things that evoke ‘passion for life’ and then somehow feeling empty. I think we have all felt this emptiness. I’ve learnt (only recently) that the subtlety of ‘passion’ is an essence that is like a bubbling well spring from within, rising to the tune of our state of ‘being’. This deep source comes from beyond the material realm bursting into celebration for many moments in time that continuously feed the next moment and the next.

How do we maintain this flow of bubbling passion whilst honouring the ‘rite of passage’ through our our own unfolding life phases, healing and trauma? This, I believe, is the illusion we have come to reconcile within us with a focused, compassionate and gentle acceptance of all that IS. The diversity, the variety, the spice of life that ultimately FUELS the PASSION for life.

ESSENCE is a force of nature that we often restrict, resist, compartmentalise, intellectualise, separate or avoid. I believe attuning to our essence is a life long journey and requires our undivided attention. When we see ourselves as ‘forces of nature’ we can begin to listen to and trust the inner murmurings and the invisible realms that surround us. The animals, plants, trees, elements, earth and sky are always present waiting for us to acknowledge the interconnectedness of this greater wholeness.

The passion that fuels me and excites me most is the subtle sound of this seemingly empty space that we know in Quantum Science to be filled with energetic activity. Strangely, we can be equally overwhelmed by the noise in our physical and non-physical worlds so focusing and channeling what we need to fuel our passion and purpose is the deep listening and learning.

What we need in each present moment is dependent on our own awakening to our soul’s mission. The surrender to this unknown potential of reality nested within our known physical reality can be discombobulating at the best of times. I know my own path has been a roller coaster at times and a slow snail ride at other times. The learning exists in these spaces between the unknown and known and our ability to courageously step through spaces that may or may not lead us to where we believe we are going. In fact, my current life is mostly a series of surprises that both annoy and delight me!

I’d have to say patience has been one of my biggest lessons alongside the surrendering to nature’s gentle pace and flow. I am eternally grateful for these big and small lessons in my life experience and am now feeling that the gentle path is the most essential component for my own growth and expansion. I always return to the 4 foundational principles in the ‘Art of Contemplation’ Gene Keys course that embody gentleness, patience, contemplation and inquiry. They have reshaped my approach to life to slow me down and enjoy the beauty path!

The illusion that we have no time to slow down and create a life of passion and joy is deeply embedded in our collective consciousness. It all starts by shifting our awareness and vibrational frequency through our INNER guidance. Passion is a feeling that flows naturally when it is fuelled from our inner-guidance. One of my main simple practices is observing my breath and noticing if it feels free and easy or tight and restricted. From here I shift it to be able to choose and receive from a place of ease, no matter what.

What lights me up may not light you up and vice versa so comparing our inner-guidance is also futile. Trusting in what we hear, see, observe and receive is essential so we remain in a flow state that serves us. Even if we believe we take detours, we somehow spectacularly arrive in unexpected places that redirect our path. We are ALWAYS looked after and for that, I am deeply grateful.

So as we travel our paths consider a few key things:

  1. Is passion your fuel?

  2. Are you listening to your deep inner guidance or following another path?

  3. Do you trust yourself enough to listen to and receive your hearts passion?

  4. How is life treating you in every moment as that is an indication of how you treat yourself.

  5. Are you feeling expanded moments or are you constantly feeling contracted?

Becoming WHOLE and living life passionately is about restoring natural balance and inner awareness to those deeper parts of ourselves that are ultimately looking for our LOVE. Knowing that we cycle through many phases that are reflected in our way of life and environment means that NATURE IS OUR GUIDE. We are nature and returning to this truth is the wholeness we all seek.
